Extramural Soccer Tournament

The VRSA and George Mason University would like you to join us in the 1st Annual State Recreational Soccer Tournament.  The Event will be held April 21-23 at George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.   This event is open to all participants who are eligible for intramural participation at your respective institutions, including club members, faculty and staff. Registration for this event is open to the first 24 men's teams and 12 women's teams.  This tournament is open to all club and intramural teams from member institutions across the state. 

          This is a great opportunity for students to participate in a full-field 11 on 11 tournament.  We have had a great response from students in the past few weeks in anticipation of the event.  Tournament will be played 11 on 11/full-field.  Certified Officials have been secured (3 per field) and will be provided throughout the tournament.  Games will consist of two twenty minute halves with a five minute half-time.  Teams will compete in pool play with the top two advancing to a single elimination format set to begin on Saturday afternoon.  Anyone interested in getting involved feel free to contact me at:  pbazzano@gmu.edu .

Roster forms will be limited to 18 per team.  All forms and information will be made available online for students.  Please help spread the word to students and faculty/staff and help make this event a success.  Thank you for your time.
